The world of filters and everything surrounding these can be a minefield, particularly to beginners. The PowerShot V1 eliminates the need to go looking for these as it has them built in. With the click of a button, you are able to apply an ND (Neutral Density) filter to the camera, to reduce the amount of light being taken in - this is particularly useful on ultra-bright days where the light outside is a little too harsh, and enables you to keep on capturing the best footage with minimal fuss.

No-Fuss Audio

The V1 has an in-built microphone which affords a good amount of customisation to get your sound right, without the need for external mics and all manner of other equipment. It allows you to manually change the audio level, wind filter, noise reduction and more, so you are able to fine-tune the audio to what you want to hear. For those that want to step up audio quality even further, external mics can be connected via the camera's 3.5mm jack, or via the hotshoe on the top of the camera.
